by patrik millsjo Visit Date:February 25, 2012 Room: Service: Facilities: Location: "Fantastic room standard for 3500 bath, standard room pool view. The location is quite and calm and fits people who wants to chill out. The restaurant is ok but on nights one usually take a 150bath taxi to khao lak center (about 5min) where one can eat and do some shopping." |

The staff in the reception spoke very bad english, and we asked them for help to call a lokal phonecall, and we had to pay a lot for that help. Many good resturants in the area. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |

by Laurel Roberts Visit Date:July 24, 2009 Room: Service: Facilities: "Wonderful hotel. We had a great 6 days here. There were a lot of ants in the rooms though. The hotel tried to get rid of them, but it proved to be a challenge. Remote location, but there are several good eating places within walking distance. Hotel provided transport to town for 200 baht. Not much to see there though. Gorgeous beach access with lounge chairs. Best to stay here if you want a quiet resort experience. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
Saadee is always excellent - everything was as agreed. Thank you., June 22, 2009 by Kenneth Young Visit Date:June 15, 2009 "We loved The Briza! The property is a very restful, spacious design with beautiful gardens and pool - located right on the beach. We stayed in the Garden View rooms and they are very suitable for families as they are interconnecting. Breakfast was more than adequate. No problem with beach chairs etc. The property is perfectly located approximately 5km out of Khuk Kak so easy access by taxi or motorbikes are available for hire at the resort or outside. We travel to Thailand regularly (twice per year for many years) but this is our first visit to Khao Lak. Value for money is outstanding. We are already planning to return (tomorrow actually!) and are recommending it to family and friends. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
We first booked two grand deluxe beachfront rooms and got these rooms confirmed by sawadee. We then paid the deposit, but two days later we got the message that they had no available beachfront rooms after all. We were offered other rooms, but were not offered to get the deposit back. It turned out to be a nice holiday after all, but it is possible that we would not have booked this hotel if we were told in the beginning that we could not get the beachfront rooms., April 22, 2009 by Beate M Huseby Visit Date:April 15, 2009 "This was a trulely lovely place. The beach outside the hotel was just as beautiful, perfect and quiet as we had hoped for, and sometimes we had the feeling that we were alone at the beach (if you want to be alone, you can just walk 100 m away from the four hotels). We stayed in 2 grand deluxe garden rooms and were very pleased with them. The roofs, formed as a pyramid gave the rooms a very special feeling. However, unfortunately, it was raining quite a lot when we stayed there, (from 14-19 in the evening) and we really missed a dry place to sit. There was no chairs in the room, and the chairs outside did not have a cover. In the rainy period, the ground floor garden deluxe rooms would probably be a better choice. The service at the hotel, however, was excellent. When we asked for two chairs and a table in the room, they brought us this immidately. It was also in a quiet, but lovely area with elephants eating grass at the field behind the hotel. [R24 integr.ERR:escaping]" |
